Four decades of history for the 1981 Set

The 1981 Set are marking 40 years of their graduation from Osograms. In an activity-packed weekend, members converge on Osogbo to bring back memories and ideas to the younger generation.
The event kicked off on November 12 with a Jumat service and career talk before students of the school, followed by the presentation of an award to the three winners of the debating competition among the students, in honor of the late Lofty Alliyu, a member of the Set who died in January, 2021.

It was followed on Saturday, November 13, with a novelty sports competition, health check and a public lecture at the Osogbo Grammar School Mega Hall, delivered by Dr. Gbadebo Latona. In attendance was the National President, Professor Michael Ologunde.

In his congratulatory message, Prof. Ologunde remarked that the Set's "humility and absolute loyalty as a Set group towards issues affecting our alma mater stand you out as first among equals."

A social night followed at a hotel, and it will climax with a church service at the Cathedral Church of All Saints in Balogun, Osogbo.
